Bike rental
Go on an adventure with the wind in your hair and discover the surroundings by bike. At the reception of EuroParcs Brunssummerheide you can rent regular bikes, e-bikes and children's bikes. You can only hire bikes from us as a guest of our holiday park.
Holiday with your dog?
Dogs are welcome! Your dogs needs to be on a leash at all times. Convenient: there are special waste bags to be found to clear up after your pet. This way we keep it clear for all. In the area around the park there are a lot of walking routes and nature parks, where you can go with your four-legged friend (on a leash, of course). There's a dog shower on the park, for fresh pets!
Good to know, in a number of accommodations pets are allowed. In the accommodations there are no benches or carpets. Also there's no camera or baby monitor available. Should you want to use it, please bring your own. Of course there's a mop or puppy pad available to quickly clean up any accidents. Your dog isn't allowed in the swimming pond, but there are two areas at the Brunssummerheide where dogs can go off leash!

There are different cycling and/or walking routes to discover in the area of EuroParcs Brunssummerheide. Be inspired, choose the best one and go out into nature together!
Brunssummerheide
During a walk or a bike ride you will see all shades of purple, gray and green pass you by in the colorful nature reserve Brunssummerheide. Deciduous forest, coniferous forest, sand plains and heaths alternate here. Thanks to the gentle slopes, this area is also very popular with mountain bikers. Along the way you may come across a herd of grazing Schoonebeker sheep who 'maintain' this nature reserve.
GaiaZoo
GaiaZoo has been voted the 'Best Day Out of the Netherlands' several times. This is because it is a unique zoo in the South Limburg hills. Here you can see animals from all over the world. You'll stand eye to eye with red pandas, zebras and giraffes, or you'll spot wolverines and gorillas. In the limburgHUIS you will discover endangered species from our own soil.

Steam Train 'Miljoenenlijn'
Take a nostalgic trip on the steam or diesel train that winds its way through the South Limburg hills. You can choose from two routes along the Million Line' of the South Limburg Steam Train Company: between Kerkrade and Schin op Geul or between Simpelveld and Vetschau in Germany.
