Enjoying a holiday together with your dog? At EuroParcs Brunssummerheide, your loyal four-legged friend is more than welcome. While you enjoy the peace and beautiful nature of South Limburg, your dog can have just as much fun exploring the many walking routes, forests and nature areas nearby.

A dog leash policy applies throughout the park to keep the environment pleasant and safe for everyone. Special waste bags are available to clean up after your dog and help keep the park clean and enjoyable for all guests. There is also a dog shower available, so your dog can be fresh and clean after an adventurous walk.

The area around EuroParcs Brunssummerheide is perfect for long walks with your dog. Nearby, you will find many walking routes and beautiful nature reserves where you can enjoy peace, space and the outdoors together. The Brunssummerheide also has two off-leash areas where dogs can run and play freely.

Swimming and fun at De Zeekoelen

De Zeekoelen is a natural swimming lake offering swimming and playtime in a green, hilly setting. It’s a lovely place to relax, swim and enjoy nature together on warm days.

Make your holiday more sustainable and travel to EuroParcs Brunssummerheide by public transport. Below are a number of possibilities for reaching the holiday park by public transport. 

From Utrecht station to EuroParcs Brunssummerheide The total travel time is approximately three hours. From Utrecht Central Station take the intercity towards Boxtel. Get off at Boxtel station, where you have a 10-minute change for the intercity to Eindhoven Centraal. At Eindhoven, transfer again to the intercity towards Maastricht and get off at Sittard station. Bus 37 leaves from Sittard bus station towards Brunssum via Merkelbeek. Get off at Brederostraat, Heerlen. Walk down the hill from the stop and you will reach the reception. 

From Valkenburg station to EuroParcs Brunssummerheide The total travel time is about half an hour. From Valkenburg station take the Arriva express train to Heerlen station. After ten minutes you will arrive at Heerlen station. At Heerlen station, you have a 5-minute transfer time to bus 3 in the direction of Brunssum. Get off at bus station Wilhelminastraat in Brunssum. Get off at Brederostraat, Heerlen. Walk down the hill from the stop and you will reach the reception.

Relaxing fishing

Cast your line from the fishing jetty at EuroParcs Brunssummerheide and enjoy a relaxing moment by the water. A wonderful activity for anyone who loves fishing and peaceful surroundings.

Driving an electric car? EuroParcs Brunssummerheide has 8 charging stations for electric cars available. This makes it easy to charge your car during your stay.

Lighting fireworks is not permitted at EuroParcs Brunssummerheide. For many years, we have consciously chosen to celebrate a completely fireworks-free New Year's Eve, allowing our guests, children and pets to enjoy peace and relaxation.

Please note that our fireworks-free policy only applies within the boundaries of the holiday park. Outside the park, local laws and regulations apply. Depending on local regulations, fireworks may be used.

Important: No fireworks are permitted anywhere on the holiday park.
